What is Dimmable LED High Bay Lighting?
Dimmable LED high bay lights are fixtures that can be dimmed using low-voltage dimmers. This means there are typically 10 dimming steps available. The low voltage inputs are either 0-10V DC or 1-10V DC. The difference between 0-10V and 1-10V is that 0-10V allows for turning the fixture off when a 0V signal is sent. Two dimming wires are included with the fixtures and are wired separately from the powered 3-wire inputs. You can daisy chain multiple fixtures together to dim a section of lights. Dimming High Bays is also the mechanism of how motion sensors work. The motion sensor sends a signal through the dimming wires to brighten the fixture or dim the fixture, depending on whether there is activity in the area.
