Our Dimmable LED High Bays include fixtures with low-voltage dimming inputs and motion sensor control capabilities. Available configurations use either 0-10V DC or 1-10V DC dimming, typically with 10 dimming steps. With 0-10V controls, the fixture turns off when it receives a 0V signal. Each fixture includes two dimming wires in addition to the separately wired, powered three-wire input.

These high bay fixtures support daisy-chained dimming connections for controlling sections of lights together. Motion sensors operate through the same dimming wires, sending signals that brighten or dim connected fixtures based on activity within the monitored area. How Dimmable LED High Bay Lights Work

Dimmable LED high bay lights use a compatible driver to reduce light output without turning the fixture off at the wall switch. They are commonly used in warehouses, manufacturing areas, gymnasiums, distribution centers, and storage spaces where full output is not needed at all times.

Most commercial high bays use either a 0-10V or 1-10V dimmable driver. Both systems use low-voltage control wires to adjust the driver independently from the fixture’s normal power wiring.

  • 0-10V dimming: Can reduce output from full brightness to a very low level and, with a compatible driver and control, may dim to off.
  • 1-10V dimming: Typically reduces output from full brightness to approximately 10%. It does not switch the fixture completely off, so a separate relay, switch, or control is needed for full shutoff.

  • Complete shutoff after an additional delay when supported by the driver and control system
