What is LED Pickleball Court Lighting?
LED Pickleball Court lighting is a series of commercial-grade indoor and outdoor lighting designed to provide balanced and bright lighting for pickleball courts. Indoor lighting is bright and impact-resistant, designed to operate for years without maintenance. Outdoor lighting with special optics is designed to light up the courts from either courtside or on poles from up high. We do offer dark sky-compliant fixtures, so if that’s what you need, let us know.
The life expectancy of our LED lights is 10+ years (or more). There will be very little maintenance on these fixtures over the life of the fixtures. There are no bulbs or ballasts to replace.
Energy Savings with LED Pickleball Court Lighting
You can expect energy savings to be at least 50-75%. While the pickleball court lighting cost may be more upfront, you will save in the long run. One example is replacing 1000-watt metal Halide lights with 300-watt LED lights. These will last far longer and consume far less energy.
We Sell Pickleball Court Light Poles
We offer Pickleball light poles including square straight steel poles and round tapered steel poles. These poles allow us to mount our LED lights and light fixtures to provide direct lighting to the courts.
Recommended Foot Candles for Pickleball Courts

Best Height LED Lights Be Mounted on Poles for a Pickleball Court
Higher is better. Because it allows the light to distribute throughout the court and playing surface. It would be ideal if the lights were mounted 20 feet or higher.
Best Type of LED Lighting to Use for an Outdoor Pickleball Court
We have special parking lot lights with forward-throw optics. These allow the light to cover the court more evenly. For pole-mounted floods, we offer high-power flood lights. They can get light to the court and provide uniform lighting.
If you are looking to replace 400-watt metal halide fixtures, we have both shoebox fixtures and flood lights that can replace 400-watt metal halides. The lighting plan can determine the best light.
How to Light up an Outdoor Pickleball Court at Night
There are two distinct ways we’ve worked with. Side court mounted poles or flood lights installed farther away from the court.
Pickleball courts are easy to light up. If you use the right fixture for the specific court based on mounting locations. We offer free lighting plans so that we can offer the best light for your court layout.
How to Reduce Glare with LED Fixtures Directing Light on the Court
Mounting angles can make a difference. If needed, back shields can be also added. Pointing lights straight down helps a lot too. The light should have the proper optics to aid light distribution.
Bracket for Mounting LED Lights on a Pickleball Court
We offer straight arms for square and round poles, trunnions, and slip fitter mounts.
Avoiding Light Bleed onto an Adjoining Property
Install back shields to block backward-facing light bleed from lights. Let us know if this is a need.
