Can You Retrofit 400 Watt School Parking Lot Fixtures or Are We Better to Go with New Fixtures?

You can do both, and the decision of what’s best depends on your current lighting. If you have a large investment in your style of lights, then retrofitting is a great option. If you have standard fixtures, or old/broken fixtures, then replacement makes sense.

How Many Foot Candles Do You Recommend for a Gym?

Gyms should be lit up with at least 50 foot candles, depending on the function and use of the gym.

Our School Stadium Has 1500 Watt Metal Halide Lights. What LED Fixtures Will Replace Them?

We offer a 600 Watt LED spot flood light that will outperform the 1500 Watt metal halide fixture, 1 for 1. We can create a lighting plan to show you how your field will look if you want to see how a conversion to LED would look like.

I Have a School Gym with 400 Watt Metal Halide Fixtures. What Is the Best Option to Use?

We have a series of High Bay LED Lights between 150 and 200 Watts. These would be a great replacement for these fixtures.

Is It Best to Use 1x4s, 2x4s, or 2×2 Panel Lights in a Classroom? What Is the Difference?

The best option depends on your current grid pattern. It’s best to match your existing grid pattern to keep the costs lower. The main difference is a 2X4 panel is 2X brighter than a similar spec 2X2 or 1X4 panel. Otherwise, there’s no difference. The 2X4 panel is the most common choice.
