Product Overview
This 4-foot T8 LED tube replaces 8-foot fluorescent lamps and operates at 14, 18, or 20 watts with corresponding lumen outputs of 2100, 2700, or 3000 lumens. The tube delivers 150 lumens per watt across all wattage settings. Color temperature is selectable between 3500K, 4000K, 5000K, 5700K, and 6500K.
The tube features a frosted lens with a 140-degree beam angle and bi-pin connection. Voltage compatibility spans 100V-277V at 50/60 Hz. CRI is rated at 80+, power factor exceeds 0.90, and THD remains below 18%. This tube does not support dimming.
This product is sold in boxes of 25 tubes. The carton weighs 16.5 lbs.
Where This Product Fits Best
This tube is designed as a direct replacement for 8-foot fluorescent systems using a 4-foot form factor. Facilities operating on voltage between 100V and 277V can use this tube without transformer or driver modifications. The 50/60 Hz frequency rating allows use in facilities with either electrical standard.
The 140-degree beam angle and frosted lens suit general-area lighting in commercial and industrial spaces where diffused, broad coverage is needed. The selectable color temperature range from 3500K to 6500K allows matching to existing lighting conditions or task-specific requirements.
Performance and Functional Considerations
Wattage and lumen output are adjustable, with three settings available: 14 watts at 2100 lumens, 18 watts at 2700 lumens, and 20 watts at 3000 lumens. All three settings maintain 150 lumens per watt efficiency. This allows output to be matched to specific space requirements without changing the tube.
Color temperature selection includes five options: 3500K, 4000K, 5000K, 5700K, and 6500K. CRI of 80+ supports acceptable color rendering for general commercial and industrial tasks. The frosted lens reduces glare and spreads light evenly across the 140-degree beam pattern.
Rated lifespan is 50,000 hours. This tube does not support dimming and should not be installed on dimmer circuits.
Installation and Long-Term Use
Three installation methods are supported in a single tube. The tube can operate as plug-and-play using an existing fluorescent ballast, or the ballast can be bypassed with either single-ended or double-ended direct-wire connections. All three connection options are compatible with the bi-pin base.
The 100V-277V input range accommodates most commercial and industrial electrical systems without additional conversion equipment. Facilities with mixed voltage infrastructure can standardize on this tube across different circuits.
At 50,000 hours rated life, the tube supports extended service intervals in applications where lamp access is limited or relamping is labor-intensive.
How This Fixture Is Commonly Used
The wattage selector allows installers or maintenance personnel to set output based on the light level needed in each space. A storage area may use the 14-watt setting for lower output, while a task-oriented workspace may use the 20-watt setting for maximum lumens. This adjustment is made once during installation and remains fixed during operation.
Color temperature selection works the same way. A facility with existing 4000K fixtures can match this tube to that color. Spaces requiring cooler, higher-contrast light for detailed work may use 5700K or 6500K. The selection is made before or during installation and does not change during use.
Because the tube supports plug-and-play, single-ended, and double-ended wiring, maintenance teams can install it in existing troffers regardless of how the previous lamp was connected. This simplifies relamping in facilities with mixed fixture types or unknown ballast conditions.
