Camfil is a leading manufacturer of premium clean-air solutions. They provide commercial and industrial systems for air filtration and pollution control that improve worker and equipment productivity, minimize energy use, and benefit human health and the environment. For this project, we pointed out that Camfil’s light levels could be improved to benefit the workers and increase safety. Their production supervisor decided it was time to do a 1 on 1 replacement for the existing metal halide high bay lights.
Our approach and lighting plan
The functionality of our website facilitated Camfil’s assessment of various high bay options. They placed their order after selecting the most suitable option for the metal halide high bay lights. Our lighting specialist, Joe Hawkins, collaborated closely with them to guarantee smooth delivery and address any queries related to the product or installation. Results
A newly installed 400-watt metal halide high bay typically lasts for 20,000 hours. With our assistance, Camfil extended the lifespan of their existing metal halide high bays to 170,000 hours. We achieved a significant increase in energy efficiency, resulting in 50% to 75% energy savings, depending on the wattage setting chosen by Camfil. Our customer service was exceptional throughout the process.
