Project overview

CBRE’s Global Workplace Solutions group partnered with Siemens Energy to address poor light levels at one of their facilities. CBRE recognized their was an opportunity to enhance working conditions and reduce energy cost. They searched for a lighting partner to support them in upgrading the lighting system, finding LED Lighting Supply as an ideal partner. The objective was to improve their workers’ illumination and achieve significant energy savings by leveraging our commercial grade lighting solutions. The project aimed to replace old 8-lamp, 4-foot 54-watt T5 lights with modern, energy-efficient alternatives.

Our approach and lighting plan

Our lighting specialist Jeff recommended a high quality commercial grade LED high bay light fixture with an expected life of 170,000 hours to address the poor light levels at Siemens Energy’s facility. Our team ran a lighting plan to ensure the facility would see the improved light levels the were looking for. The (140) MLLG-LED-HBC-200-120D fixtures achieved an average foot-candle level of 48 in the manufacturing work area. The proposal from LED Lighting Supply result exceeded expectations and resulted in CBRE & Siemens Energy team going ahead with completing an upgrade of more areas than initially planned.
