In this video, Neil Peterson of LED Lighting Supply takes you through some of the most common options to help you to choose the right parking lot light retrofit for your business.\n\nAfter watching this video, you can browse our full line of LED Parking Lot Light Retrofit Kits here: https://www.ledlightingsupply.com/commercial-lighting/led-parking-lot-lights/retrofit-kits\n\nTranscript:\nHi, I'm Neil Peterson. \n\nI'm here today to talk to you about retrofitting parking lot fixtures, also known as shoeboxes. \n\nYou also potentially have flood lights in parking lots.\n\nWe have two main products. \n\nOne is specifically designed for a 16 inch or 23 inch shoebox.\n\nAnd then our universal product that will work in anything, whether it's a shoe box, area light, flood light, wall pack, canopy, whatever you may want.\n\nIn general, they all come with a driver and a mounting bracket of some kind.\n\nThe shoebox specific parking lot fixtures, we have both a 100, 150 watt version that are designed to equal a 400 watt metal halide fixture.\n\nAnd then we have a 240, 300 watt fixture designed to be equivalent to a 1000 watt metal halide fixture.\n\nAnd really, depending on how high they're mounted, will determine the wattage you'll use.\n\nBut the 1000 watt are designed to work on a 23 inch shoebox.\n\nBut the 400 watt equivalent fixture is designed to work in a 16 inch shoebox.\n\nThen from our retrofit kit standpoint, we range anywhere from a 150 watt metal halide equivalent fixture to a 250 watt metal halide equivalent fixture, a 400 watt metal halide equivalent fixture and a 1000 watt metal halide equivalent fixture. \n\nAnd these products can mount vertically or horizontally with the bracket. It is universal so it can be designed to go vertically or horizontally and includes a driver.\n\nBut these put out excellent light.\n\nAll the light shines down and will use the same optic as the fixture itself.\n\nThey're easy to install. \n\nAnd where your retrofit is really where you want to keep your fixtures, either because they're valuable.\n\nThere's nothing wrong with them and retrofitting is a great option. \n\nSo give us a call today and we can help recommend what the right retrofit or new fixture option is for you for your parking lot lighting.
