Description

In this video, Dave Moore of LED Lighting Supply walks you through the importance of having the best lighting plan and lighting fixtures for you Batting Cage project.\n\nTo learn more about batting cage lighting plans and fixtures, follow this link:\nhttps://www.ledlightingsupply.com/photometric-plan/batting-cage-lighting-design\n\nTranscript:\nHi I'm Dave with LED Lighting Supply and today we're look talking about batting cages lighting plans. For those and then some fixture recommendations. So typically with batting cages you want something with a high impact rating so all these fixtures are IK 08 or higher so this is actually we have IK10 and IK8 anything over 8 is usually fine for batting cages because you typically have the net before the light so there shouldn't really be a problem with too much impact but you want to be safe anyways. \n\nSo when it comes to lighting plans again it really depends on what's taking place in that space you know who's practicing there, if it's you know middle school, high school, it's going to be different than it would be Collegiate or professional so you want to account for that again mounting height's very important and then our light design team will kind of take it from there position the fixtures how they need to be laid out and then we can tweak anything once you've reviewed it and then we'll get back to you with the final plan. \n\nIf you think that any of these fixtures would be good for your project reach out to one of our lighting Specialists and we can point you in the right direction, thanks!
