These pilings are crafted from Southern Yellow Pine, known for its strength and durability, and are treated with .60 CCA to resist decay and damage. With a height of 35 feet and a weight range of 1100-1360 lbs, these pilings are suitable for various marine construction applications. They comply with ASTM D25 standards and adhere to the latest American Wood Preservers Association standards, ensuring reliability in demanding environments.Core Performance and Output
The structural capacity of these pilings is designed to support marine and waterfront structures effectively. With a minimum top outer diameter of 8 inches and a circumference of 25 inches, they provide robust support for docks, piers, and other marine applications. The .60 CCA treatment enhances their resistance to environmental factors, making them suitable for long-term use in coastal and marine environments. These pilings are not suitable for applications requiring non-conductive materials or environments with extreme corrosive conditions.Adjustability and Control Options
These pilings are fixed structures and do not offer adjustability or control options. They are designed to be installed permanently in marine and waterfront environments, providing stable and reliable support for various structures. The treatment options available, such as .80 CCA, 1.0 CCA, 1.5 CCA, and 2.5 CCA, allow for customization based on specific environmental requirements.Longevity and Reliability
The Southern Yellow Pine material, combined with the .60 CCA treatment, ensures these pilings offer long-lasting performance in marine environments. The treatment process protects against decay and insect damage, extending the lifespan of the pilings. Compliance with ASTM D25 standards further guarantees their reliability and suitability for demanding applications.Build Quality and Physical Characteristics
These pilings are manufactured in the United States, ensuring high-quality standards. They are debarked and treated to provide a smooth finish, reducing the risk of splintering and enhancing their aesthetic appeal. The wood material offers natural flexibility under load, making them suitable for dynamic marine environments. The pilings' weight and dimensions are optimized for ease of handling and installation.Where This Product Fits Best
These pilings are ideal for environments requiring robust support in marine and waterfront settings. They are commonly used in:- marine structures
- dock structures
- pier construction
- waterfront structures
Installation and Long-Term Use
Installation of these pilings requires consideration of soil and water conditions to ensure stability and longevity. They are typically driven into the ground using specialized equipment, ensuring a secure foundation for marine structures. Long-term use is supported by their treatment, which protects against environmental factors, though regular inspections are recommended to maintain structural integrity. How This Fixture Is Commonly Used
These pilings are typically installed at varying depths depending on the specific requirements of the marine structure. Spacing and layout patterns are determined by the load requirements and environmental conditions. While higher treatment levels can enhance durability, they may also increase the cost and complexity of installation.Safety, Certifications, and Warranty
These pilings are certified to meet ASTM D25 standards and adhere to American Wood Preservers Association guidelines. They come with a 1-year warranty, covering manufacturing defects and ensuring peace of mind for long-term use.
