Product Description
800 Watt Full Spectrum LED - 380-780nm - grow light exhibits both high PAR efficacy at 2.7 umol/j and PPF at 2221 umol/s. BTU output is only 2728 BTU/hrs. This fixture comes with an eye hook. This fixture has ideal thermal protection allowing it to operate in environments from -40° F - 158° F.
Producing a total PPF output of 2221 umol/s and a Photon Efficacy (fixture efficiency) of 2.7 umol/J, our 800W Commercial LED grow light creates a highly efficient light spread at a close distance from the crop canopy.
When compared to regular similar wattage 1000 Watt High-Pressure Sodium grow lights, our grow light can reduce HVAC loads by 50%+ and increase crop yields of up to 35 to 60%.
This grow light is designed with both vegetative and flowering growth periods in mind. There is no need to switch plants between rooms. It is designed so it can dim, allowing you to adjust PPFD levels produced without losing efficiency.
This LED Grow Light is designed to be mounted horizontally over the canopy of plants. The ideal bed size is 4X4 or 5X5.
Optional Controller sold separately - MLLG-WD-GR1-CONTROLLER - Grow Light Controller, Bluetooth compatible, can be used as a timer to automatically turn on/off lights. Can control up to 100 lights between 2 zones.
What plants do well with a PPF of 2221 umol/s?
Orchids: Many orchid varieties, especially those native to sunny climates, do well under such intense light. However, it's important to ensure that the light is not too harsh to prevent leaf burn.
Cacti and Succulents: These plants are naturally adapted to bright, sunny environments and can utilize high levels of light for photosynthesis.
Tropical Plants: Some tropical plants, such as hibiscus and bird of paradise, enjoy high light levels, which can help them flower and maintain vibrant foliage.
Herbs: Many herbs like basil, oregano, and rosemary, which are used to full sun, can benefit from such high light levels, leading to more robust growth and stronger flavors.
For grow lights, how good is a PAR efficiency of 2.7 umol/J?
A PAR efficiency of 2.7 umol/J indicates that for every joule of electrical energy consumed by the grow light, it emits approximately 2.7 micromoles of photons within the photosynthetically active radiation (PAR) range (400-700 nm).
A PAR efficiency of 2.7 umol/J is considered very good and represents a relatively efficient grow light. It signifies that the grow light is converting a significant portion of the electrical energy it consumes into usable photons for photosynthesis.

Product Overview
This 800 Watt linear LED grow light delivers a full spectrum output from 380 to 780nm. The fixture produces a total PPF of 2221 umol/s and a PAR efficacy of 2.70 umol/J. It is designed for commercial horticultural applications requiring high output and efficiency.
The fixture operates on 100-277V input and is equipped with an eye hook for mounting. Thermal protection allows operation in environments from -40°F to 158°F. BTU output is 2728 BTU/hr.
The fixture supports dimming to adjust PPFD levels without loss of efficiency. It is intended for horizontal mounting above plant canopies and is suitable for both vegetative and flowering growth periods.
Optional Bluetooth-compatible controller is available for timer and multi-zone control functions.
Where This Product Fits Best
This fixture is suited for commercial grow operations requiring consistent, high-output lighting across both vegetative and flowering stages. It is designed for use in controlled environment agriculture, including indoor grow rooms and greenhouses.
It is compatible with 4x4 or 5x5 bed sizes, making it appropriate for dense canopy coverage in multi-light arrays. The wide operating temperature range supports use in facilities with variable climate control.
Facilities seeking to reduce HVAC loads compared to legacy 1000W HPS systems may find this fixture aligns with operational goals. The fixture is intended for horizontal overhead mounting above crop canopies.
Environments requiring dimmable output to match plant growth cycles or to manage energy use can utilize the fixture?s integrated dimming capability.
Performance and Functional Considerations
The fixture provides a full spectrum output from 380 to 780nm, supporting plant growth throughout all stages. The PPF output of 2221 umol/s and efficacy of 2.70 umol/J enable high light intensity with efficient energy use.
Thermal management allows the fixture to operate in ambient temperatures from -40°F to 158°F. The BTU output of 2728 BTU/hr should be considered when planning HVAC requirements for the grow space.
Dimming functionality allows adjustment of PPFD levels without reducing fixture efficiency. This supports tailored lighting strategies for different crop stages or species.
The fixture is designed for horizontal mounting above the canopy, with an eye hook included for installation. The recommended coverage area is a 4x4 or 5x5 bed.
Installation and Long-Term Use
The fixture is supplied with an eye hook for horizontal suspension above plant canopies. It operates on 100-277V, supporting compatibility with standard commercial electrical systems.
Thermal protection and a wide operating temperature range allow installation in environments with significant temperature variation. The fixture?s construction supports continuous operation in demanding grow room conditions.
Dimming capability is integrated, allowing output adjustment as needed. The fixture is compatible with an optional Bluetooth controller for automated scheduling and multi-zone management.
Routine cleaning and inspection are recommended to maintain optimal light output and thermal performance over time.
How This Fixture Is Commonly Used
After installation, you can adjust the fixture?s output using the integrated dimming function to match plant requirements during different growth stages. This allows you to manage light intensity without sacrificing efficiency.
The full spectrum output supports both vegetative and flowering periods, so you do not need to move plants between rooms or change fixtures as crops mature. The fixture remains in place above the canopy throughout the entire growth cycle.
Mounting is typically horizontal, suspended above the crop using the supplied eye hook. The fixture is positioned to provide uniform coverage over a 4x4 or 5x5 bed, supporting dense planting arrangements.
If you use the optional controller, you can automate on/off cycles and manage multiple fixtures across different zones, streamlining daily operation in larger facilities.
