Product Overview

This 6 foot fiberglass crossarm is designed for use with round poles ranging from 5 to 9 inches in diameter. The crossarm measures 5 inches by 5 inches in cross-section and weighs 25 lbs. It is constructed from high-strength fiberglass reinforced plastic (FRP) and finished with a 25-year UV protective coating.

Each crossarm includes galvanized connection hardware, end caps, and mounting brackets. Color options include bronze, black, white, gray, and custom finishes. The crossarm is non-conductive and does not rot, rust, or corrode.

The included hardware consists of one crossarm bracket, two 12 inch by 3/4 inch threaded rods for attaching the bracket to the pole, two 6 3/8 inch by 3/4 inch bolts for attaching the crossarm to the bracket, and two end caps.

This crossarm is designed for attachment to fiberglass or wood poles and is suitable for environments where durability, longevity, and non-conductivity are required.

Where This Product Fits Best

This fiberglass crossarm is suited for outdoor and industrial applications where exposure to weather, UV, and corrosive environments is expected. It is commonly used on lighting poles, utility structures, and other installations requiring a non-conductive, corrosion-resistant support arm.

The crossarm is compatible with round poles from 5 to 9 inches in diameter, making it suitable for a range of pole sizes found in commercial, industrial, and municipal settings. The 6 foot length provides extended reach for mounting fixtures or equipment.

Color selection allows for visual integration with existing site aesthetics or compliance with facility standards. The fire-resistant and non-conductive properties support use in areas with electrical equipment or where fire risk is a concern.

Applications include sports lighting, parking lot lighting, roadway lighting, and utility support where a lightweight, strong, and maintenance-free crossarm is required.

Performance and Functional Considerations

The fiberglass construction provides strength in both compression and tension, supporting loads in high wind conditions and resisting deformation. The crossarm is designed to flex under stress and return to its original shape, reducing the risk of permanent damage from pole movement or weather events.

The 25-year UV protective coating prevents degradation from sunlight exposure, maintaining structural integrity and appearance over time. The crossarm does not sustain a flame and will not act as a fuel source in fire conditions.

Non-conductive properties reduce electrical hazards when installed near energized equipment. The crossarm does not rot, rust, or corrode, minimizing maintenance requirements in harsh environments.

The included galvanized hardware ensures secure attachment to the pole and bracket, supporting reliable long-term performance.

Installation and Long-Term Use

The crossarm is lightweight at 25 lbs, making it easier to handle, unload, and install compared to steel alternatives. All necessary mounting hardware is included for attachment to compatible poles.

The crossarm is designed for use with round fiberglass or wood poles with diameters between 5 and 9 inches. The included threaded rods and bolts provide a secure connection between the crossarm, bracket, and pole.

End caps are provided to protect the crossarm ends from moisture and debris. The UV protective coating and corrosion-resistant materials support long-term outdoor use with minimal maintenance.

Once installed, the crossarm maintains its structural properties and appearance without the need for repainting or surface treatment. The fire-resistant and non-conductive design supports safe operation in a range of environments.

How This Fixture Is Commonly Used

After installation, the crossarm provides a stable mounting point for lighting fixtures, electrical equipment, or other supported loads. The 6 foot length allows for wide fixture spacing or multiple attachments as required by the application.

The non-conductive fiberglass material is relied on in environments where electrical isolation is important. You can expect the crossarm to remain free from corrosion and surface degradation, even in coastal or industrial settings.

The crossarm?s ability to flex under load means it can handle wind-induced movement without permanent deformation. In day-to-day operation, there is no need for ongoing surface maintenance or inspection for rust or rot.

Color selection allows you to match the crossarm to existing poles or facility standards, supporting visual consistency across the site. The fire-resistant properties provide added safety in areas with elevated fire risk.

Safety, Certifications, and Warranty
