Where This Product Fits Best

This 30 foot Class 1 Southern Yellow Pine pole is suited for outdoor lighting, telecommunications, and power distribution applications. It is commonly used in commercial and industrial sites where a durable, treated wood pole is required.

Direct burial installation makes this pole appropriate for locations where concrete bases or anchor systems are not preferred. The 25 foot above-grade height supports area lighting, overhead lines, and equipment mounting at standard clearances.

Class 1 rating and CCA treatment allow use in environments where structural strength and resistance to decay are required. The pole is compatible with cross arms for mounting multiple fixtures or lines.

Performance and Functional Considerations

The Class 1 ANSI rating defines the structural capacity of the pole, supporting up to four cross arms at 240 lbs each. This allows for multiple lighting fixtures, power lines, or telecommunications equipment to be mounted as needed.

CCA treatment protects the wood from decay and insect damage, extending service life in outdoor conditions. The Southern Yellow Pine construction provides strength and stability for long-term use.

The pole's dimensions and weight should be considered for handling, transport, and installation. Minimum circumferences and diameters ensure compatibility with standard mounting hardware and accessories.

Direct burial installation requires a 5 foot depth below grade, providing stability without the need for additional anchoring systems.

Installation and Long-Term Use

This pole is designed for direct burial installation, with 5 feet of the pole set below grade. Proper backfill and compaction are required to ensure stability and prevent movement over time.

CCA treatment allows the pole to withstand exposure to soil, moisture, and insects. Routine inspection is recommended to monitor for physical damage or environmental wear.

The pole's weight and size require appropriate equipment for unloading and setting. Handling should be planned to avoid damage to the wood surface or treatment layer.

Cross arms and other accessories can be mounted based on project requirements. Hardware selection should match the pole's dimensions and load ratings.

How This Fixture Is Commonly Used

Once installed, this 30 foot wood pole provides a stable mounting point for area lighting, overhead power lines, or telecommunications equipment. The 25 foot above-grade height allows for clearances needed in commercial and industrial sites.

Operators can attach up to four cross arms, each supporting up to 240 lbs, to accommodate multiple fixtures or lines. The pole's treated surface resists decay and insect activity, reducing maintenance needs in most environments.

Routine checks for physical integrity and hardware tightness are recommended. The pole's dimensions allow for standard climbing and access equipment to be used for fixture maintenance or line adjustments.

Safety, Certifications, and Warranty
