Our 25 foot Class 4 CCA Treated Southern Yellow Pine Poles are grown, debarked, and treated in the United States. They are manufactured to ANSI O5.1 specification. 25 ft utility poles are treated to the latest American Wood Preservers Association standards to prevent decay and damage from insects.

Our 25 foot wood poles are the perfect length for tennis courts and parking lots outside stores. You can add 1 light arms per side, 2 in total. Each arm can accommodate 240 lbs per arm. One of the benefits of wood poles includes a long life span.

Options Available:

Cross Arms (2 per pole, 1 per side) and Mounting Brackets. Customer is responsible for mounting Crossarm after poles are delivered. Poles do not ship with cross arms attached.

These are the lights we typically mount on the crossarms. Up to 6 lights per arm, not to exceed 240 total pounds of fixtures and hardware.

Delivery is made with a flatbed truck and the customer is responsible for offloading. Offloading requires a forklift or appropriate similar vehicle to offload ? customer supplied. Customer is responsible for any costs associated with delivery rescheduling because of improper scheduling or not having the proper offloading equipment available at the time of delivery.

Pricing: Does not include cost of shipping. Shipping is available to the lower 48 USA states. We can supply a budgetary shipping quote or a firm shipping quote that is good for 14 days to your delivery location.

Disclaimer: LED Lighting Supply is not responsible for improper loading (ie what is mounted to the pole), installation costs, or foundation design of light poles. Dimensions and specifications of poles are subject to change without notice but the pole top and butt dimensions will always be within ANSI specifications. Wood poles are the ideal option for most field projects as concrete poles require more frequent maintenance and replacement. While our main product line is southern yellow pine, we at times are able to offer other species including douglas fir and red pine. CCA treatment generally will result in the poles being free of insects for decades to come.

Please be advised that our wood poles are covered solely by a 1 year-year workmanship warranty, which ensures that the poles are free from defects from the manufacturing process, and structural integrity, for a period of one year from the date of purchase. This warranty does not cover damage resulting from external factors, misuse, or normal wear and tear.

Product Overview

This 25 foot Class 4 wood pole is manufactured from Southern Yellow Pine and treated with CCA preservative. The total height is 25 feet, with 20.5 feet remaining above grade after direct burial installation at the specified 4.5 foot depth. The pole is manufactured to ANSI O5.1 specification.

The pole weighs between 510 and 600 pounds. Minimum circumference at the top is 21 inches, corresponding to a minimum diameter of 6.684 inches. At 6 feet from the butt, minimum circumference is 27.5 inches with a minimum diameter of 8.753 inches.

Where This Product Fits Best

This pole height and load capacity suits applications such as tennis court lighting and parking lot installations outside retail locations. The 20.5 foot above-grade height after burial positions fixtures at an appropriate elevation for these site types.

The Class 4 rating and CCA treatment make this pole suitable for outdoor direct burial applications where long-term resistance to decay and insect damage is required.

Performance and Functional Considerations

This pole supports a maximum of 2 cross arms total, with 1 cross arm permitted per side. Each cross arm can carry up to 240 pounds of attached weight, which includes fixtures and mounting hardware combined.

The tapered profile provides the structural geometry specified under ANSI O5.1 for Class 4 poles. The CCA treatment is applied to current American Wood Preservers Association standards for decay and insect resistance.

Installation and Long-Term Use

This pole is designed for direct burial installation. The 4.5 foot burial depth is specified to achieve the 20.5 foot above-grade height. Pole weight ranges from 510 to 600 pounds, which requires appropriate lifting and handling equipment during installation.

Cross arms are available but do not ship attached to the pole. The installer is responsible for mounting cross arms after delivery. Each arm can accept up to 6 fixtures provided the total weight of fixtures and hardware does not exceed 240 pounds per arm.

How This Fixture Is Commonly Used

Once installed, this pole serves as a permanent mounting structure for area lighting. The cross arm configuration allows fixtures to be oriented in multiple directions from a single pole location.

Maintenance access to fixtures mounted on cross arms requires lift equipment appropriate for the 20.5 foot above-grade height plus the elevation of the mounted arms. The weight capacity of 240 pounds per arm accommodates multiple fixtures per side when fixture and hardware weight remains within the limit.

Safety, Certifications, and Warranty

This pole is manufactured to ANSI O5.1 specification. CCA treatment is applied to current American Wood Preservers Association standards.

LED Lighting Supply provides a 1 year warranty on this product.
