    Product Overview

This 150 watt LED parking shoebox retrofit kit is designed to replace the light-producing components inside compatible 16 inch shoebox fixtures. It delivers 24,750 lumens and is listed as a 400 watt metal halide replacement.

The retrofit uses a Type 5 distribution for broad area coverage from an existing pole-mounted shoebox housing. It is available in 4000K or 5000K color temperature.

    Core Performance and Output

The retrofit produces 24,750 lumens at 150 watts, for an efficacy of 165 lumens per watt. The Type 5 beam pattern distributes light in a circular area around the fixture location.

Input voltage is 100V-277V at 50/60 Hz. Power factor is 0.90, and the product has a 70+ CRI.

This output level can be excessive where existing fixture locations are close to the ground or closely spaced. Final performance depends on the existing fixture housing, mounting position, and site layout.

    Adjustability and Control Options

This retrofit is available in 4000K or 5000K. The color temperature must be selected before installation.

The retrofit is non-dimming. It operates on 100V-277V input power and does not include a dimming control option.

    Longevity and Reliability

The LED light source is rated for 50,000 L70 hours. L70 identifies the point at which light output is maintained at 70 percent of initial output.

Long-term performance also depends on the condition of the existing shoebox fixture, internal wiring, and installation workmanship. The retrofit should be installed in a compatible 16 inch fixture.

    Build Quality and Physical Characteristics

The assembly uses a white PCB and aluminum frame. The aluminum frame provides the mounting structure for the retrofit components.

Overall dimensions are 12.83 inches long by 10.87 inches wide. The retrofit weighs 6 pounds.

    Where This Product Fits Best

This retrofit is intended for projects that retain compatible existing shoebox fixtures while replacing legacy light-producing components. Its 150 watt output and Type 5 distribution support exterior retrofit work where broad area coverage is required.

    • fixture retrofit projects
    • legacy fixture conversion
    • parking lot lighting retrofit
    • energy upgrade projects
    • maintenance-driven lighting upgrades
    • municipal retrofit programs

Installation requires a compatible 16 inch shoebox fixture and 100V-277V electrical supply. The existing housing condition, internal space, and mounting arrangement should be verified before retrofit work begins.

    Installation and Long-Term Use

The retrofit is installed within a compatible existing 16 inch shoebox fixture. Confirm the fixture housing dimensions, electrical condition, and internal mounting arrangement before removing legacy components.

Existing mounting height remains a project condition because this product is installed in the original shoebox housing. Access for future service should be considered when retaining existing pole-mounted fixtures.

How This Fixture Is Commonly Used

For fixture retrofit projects and parking lot lighting retrofit work, the module is installed in existing shoebox housings rather than replacing the complete fixture. The existing mounting height and pole locations remain part of the final lighting layout.

Type 5 distribution supports broad coverage around each fixture location. Fixture spacing and layout requirements vary with existing pole placement, mounting height, target light levels, and the selected 4000K or 5000K configuration.

    Safety, Certifications, and Warranty

This product is ETL certified. It is rebate eligible.

No warranty term is provided in the supplied product specifications. Installation should be completed with the fixture disconnected from electrical power.
