What are 120-Volt LED Flood Lights?
120 Volt LED Flood Lighting fixtures are fixtures that can be designed to work with voltages supplied at 120 Volts from the panel. However, the LED drivers associated with these lights operate in a range of voltages from 100 volts to 277 Volts. When turned on, the drivers detect the voltage of the line coming in and automatically adjust to the incoming voltage. The electrician does not need to set the voltage. A flood light operating at 120 volts would result in a significantly less amp draw per fixture than a comparable metal halide or halogen flood light. This means the electrician could add more lights per circuit at 120 volts than metal halide or halogen lighting.
