Disclaimer: LED Lighting Supply is not responsible for improper loading (ie what is mounted to the piling), installation costs, or foundation design of piling. Dimensions and specifications of pilings are subject to change without notice but the tip and butt dimensions will always be within ASTM specifications. While our main product line is southern yellow pine, we at times are able to offer other species including douglas fir and red pine. All poles are treated with CCA unless specified otherwise. Our standard treatment is .60 pounds per cubic foot.
Please be advised that our wood pilings are covered solely by a 1-year workmanship warranty, which ensures that the pilings are free from defects from the manufacturing process, and structural integrity, for a period of one year from the date of purchase. This warranty does not cover damage resulting from external factors, misuse, or normal wear and tear.
Product Overview
This 25 foot wood piling is a Class A Southern Yellow Pine piling for marine structures, dock structures, pier construction, and waterfront structures. It is grown, debarked, and treated in the United States.
The piling has .60 CCA treatment and is manufactured to ASTM D25 standards. Its 25 foot overall length supports projects where piling length, butt diameter, and top diameter must be defined before installation.
Core Performance and Output
This piling has a minimum 28 inch top circumference and 9 inch minimum top outside diameter. At 3 feet from the butt, the minimum circumference is 44 inches and the outside diameter is 14 inches.
Pole weight ranges from 770 to 920 pounds. Structural layout, embedment depth, exposed height, loading conditions, and piling spacing must be established by the project design because they are not defined by the supplied product data.
Adjustability and Control Options
This is a fixed-length 25 foot wood piling. It has no adjustment, control, or electrical operating features.
Available treatment options include .80 CCA, 1.0 CCA, 1.5 CCA, and 2.5 CCA. Treatment selection should be confirmed against the project requirements before installation.
Longevity and Reliability
The standard .60 CCA treatment is intended to prevent decay and damage. The piling is manufactured to the latest American Wood Preservers Association standards.
Long-term performance depends on the specified treatment level and the installed project conditions. The supplied warranty is 1 year.
Build Quality and Physical Characteristics
The piling is Southern Yellow Pine wood construction with an ANSI Class A classification. It is supplied as a debarked wood piling.
Its physical dimensions include a minimum 9 inch top outside diameter and a 14 inch outside diameter at 3 feet from the butt. Weight variation between 770 and 920 pounds should be accounted for during handling and placement.
Where This Product Fits Best
This piling fits structural marine and waterfront construction where a treated wood piling is specified. The 25 foot length and Class A construction are suited to projects that require defined piling dimensions.
- dock structures
- pier construction
- marine structures
- waterfront structures
- marina construction
- boardwalk structures
The .60 CCA treatment supports projects requiring treated wood piling construction. Higher CCA treatment options are available when the project specification calls for a different treatment level.
Installation and Long-Term Use
Installation planning should account for the 25 foot overall length, 770 to 920 pound weight range, butt dimensions, and top dimensions. Equipment and handling procedures must suit the physical size and weight of the piling.
Final installed elevation, embedment, spacing, and layout are project-specific structural decisions. The supplied product data does not establish installation depths, spacing values, or loading limits.
How This Fixture Is Commonly Used
For dock structures, pier construction, and waterfront structures, the 25 foot piling length is evaluated against the required installed elevation and structural design. Piling placement follows the engineered layout for the structure.
Spacing and layout patterns vary with the project design and structural requirements. A longer piling length does not establish a specific spacing pattern or installed height.
Safety, Certifications, and Warranty
This piling is manufactured to ASTM D25 standards. It is treated to the latest American Wood Preservers Association standards.
The piling has an ANSI Class A classification. Warranty coverage is 1 year.
