Disclaimer: LED Lighting Supply is not responsible for improper loading (ie what is mounted to the piling), installation costs, or foundation design of piling. Dimensions and specifications of pilings are subject to change without notice but the tip and butt dimensions will always be within ASTM specifications. While our main product line is southern yellow pine, we at times are able to offer other species including douglas fir and red pine. All poles are treated with CCA unless specified otherwise. Our standard treatment is .60 pounds per cubic foot.
Please be advised that our wood pilings are covered solely by a 1-year workmanship warranty, which ensures that the pilings are free from defects from the manufacturing process, and structural integrity, for a period of one year from the date of purchase. This warranty does not cover damage resulting from external factors, misuse, or normal wear and tear.
Product Overview
This 35 foot wood piling is a Class A Southern Yellow Pine piling for marine structures, dock structures, pier construction, and waterfront structures. It is grown, debarked, and treated in the United States.
The piling has .60 CCA treatment and is manufactured to ASTM D25 standards. Its 35 foot overall length supports projects where pile length is established by the structure design and site conditions.
Core Performance and Output
This piling has a listed weight range of 1,320 to 1,570 pounds. Minimum dimensions include a 28 inch top circumference, 9 inch top outside diameter, 44 inch circumference 3 feet from the butt, and 14 inch outside diameter 3 feet from the butt.
Class A is the stated ANSI classification. Structural capacity, embedment depth, loading, and finished elevation must be established by the project design because they are not provided in the product data.
Adjustability and Control Options
This is a fixed-length 35 foot wood piling with no electrical controls or adjustable operating settings. The supplied configuration includes .60 CCA treatment.
Optional treatment levels are .80 CCA, 1.0 CCA, 1.5 CCA, and 2.5 CCA. Treatment selection must align with the project requirements.
Longevity and Reliability
The .60 CCA treatment is intended to prevent decay and damage. Treatment is applied to Southern Yellow Pine after the piling is grown and debarked.
Long-term condition depends on the installed environment and project-specific design requirements. The listed warranty is 1 year.
Build Quality and Physical Characteristics
This piling is made from Southern Yellow Pine and carries an ANSI Class A rating. It is manufactured to ASTM D25 standards.
The top and butt dimensions establish the minimum physical profile of the piling. Weight variation within the listed range should be considered during handling and installation planning.
Where This Product Fits Best
This piling fits structural work in marine and waterfront settings where wood pilings are specified. Its 35 foot length and CCA treatment align with dock, pier, and waterfront construction work.
- dock structures
- pier construction
- marine structures
- waterfront structures
- marina construction
- coastal facility construction
Project design requirements determine the required treatment level, embedment, load conditions, and final pile elevation. Those values are not established by the supplied product data.
Installation and Long-Term Use
Installation planning should account for the 35 foot total length and 1,320 to 1,570 pound listed weight range. The minimum top and butt dimensions should also be checked against the structural design.
Embedment depth, finished height above grade or water, and pile spacing are project-specific. They must be established by the structure design rather than assumed from the piling length.
How This Fixture Is Commonly Used
For dock structures, pier construction, and waterfront structures, the 35 foot overall length is evaluated against required embedment and the required finished elevation. The supplied data does not establish a finished mounting height.
Layouts for marine structures, marina construction, and coastal facility construction are based on the structural plan. Pile spacing varies with the project design, required loads, and site conditions.
Safety, Certifications, and Warranty
This piling is manufactured to ASTM D25 standards. The treatment meets the latest American Wood Preservers Association standards.
The piling has an ANSI Class A rating. Warranty coverage is 1 year.
