R. Dray Manufacturing’s Plant Manager was looking for a replacement for their 1000-watt HPS lights.

He originally found LED Lighting Supply’s blog post, What Does it Take to Replace a 1000 Watt Metal Halide? After reading the post which provided direction on the ideal replacement lights, Mr. Surley ordered an initial sample for his facility. He subsequently upgraded the rest of the lights in the facility.

Switching from high-pressure sodium to 300-watt LED high bays (which last up to 170,000 hours), and floodlights lasting 50,000 hours, brought big benefits for R. Dray. This change reduces lighting costs by 70% and ensures years of continuous use. Their Plant Manager, Glen, was happy with the product, praising the LEDs for their great performance and efficiency.
