Product Description

800 Watt Full Spectrum LED - 380-780nm - grow light exhibits both high PAR efficacy at 2.7 umol/j and PPF at 2221 umol/s. BTU output is only 2728 BTU/hrs. This fixture comes with an eye hook. This fixture has ideal thermal protection allowing it to operate in environments from -40° F - 158° F.
Producing a total PPF output of 2221 umol/s and a Photon Efficacy (fixture efficiency) of 2.7 umol/J, our 800W Commercial LED grow light creates a highly efficient light spread at a close distance from the crop canopy.
When compared to regular similar wattage 1000 Watt High-Pressure Sodium grow lights, our grow light can reduce HVAC loads by 50%+ and increase crop yields of up to 35 to 60%.
This grow light is designed with both vegetative and flowering growth periods in mind. There is no need to switch plants between rooms. It is designed so it can dim, allowing you to adjust PPFD levels produced without losing efficiency.
This LED Grow Light is designed to be mounted horizontally over the canopy of plants. The ideal bed size is 4X4 or 5X5.
Optional Controller sold separately - MLLG-WD-GR1-CONTROLLER - Grow Light Controller, Bluetooth compatible, can be used as a timer to automatically turn on/off lights. Can control up to 100 lights between 2 zones.
What plants do well with a PPF of 2221 umol/s?
Orchids: Many orchid varieties, especially those native to sunny climates, do well under such intense light. However, it's important to ensure that the light is not too harsh to prevent leaf burn.
Cacti and Succulents: These plants are naturally adapted to bright, sunny environments and can utilize high levels of light for photosynthesis.
Tropical Plants: Some tropical plants, such as hibiscus and bird of paradise, enjoy high light levels, which can help them flower and maintain vibrant foliage.
Herbs: Many herbs like basil, oregano, and rosemary, which are used to full sun, can benefit from such high light levels, leading to more robust growth and stronger flavors.
For grow lights, how good is a PAR efficiency of 2.7 umol/J?
A PAR efficiency of 2.7 umol/J indicates that for every joule of electrical energy consumed by the grow light, it emits approximately 2.7 micromoles of photons within the photosynthetically active radiation (PAR) range (400-700 nm).
A PAR efficiency of 2.7 umol/J is considered very good and represents a relatively efficient grow light. It signifies that the grow light is converting a significant portion of the electrical energy it consumes into usable photons for photosynthesis.
